Scholarships offer a chance to improve ag communications

NAFB logoThese days, the animal science mantra is “Outreach, outreach, outreach.” So it’s great that the National Association of Farm Broadcasters (NAFB) is offering three scholarships to college students interested in careers in ag communications.

There are two scholarships for $4,000, as well as the Glenn Kummerow Memorial Scholarship for $5,000. These scholarships are recognized at the NAFB Annual Convention, and the winners also receive an expense-paid trip to attend the convention as part of the award. What a good networking opportunity!

College juniors, seniors and graduate students are eligible. Go to the NAFB site for more information. Applications must be sent by June 11.
