Generous financial aid is available to 3 recent Ph.D. scholars from North America to attend the 11th World Congress on Animal Production (WCAP2013) in Beijing, China from Oct. 15 to 20, 2013. Applicants must have a Ph.D. and no permanent academic, industry, or government position (e.g., applicants can be in a post-doctoral position) or be within their first 2 years of a permanent academic, industry, or government position.
Benefits:
1. The registration fee will be waived.
2. The accommodation fee (within the period of 5-day conference) will be waived.
3. The round-trip airfare (economic class) will be reimbursed.
How to apply:
Applicants should first submit their abstracts to the WCAP-2013 Conference online. Applicants should also submit a package enclosed (1) Abstract for WCAP-2013, (2) CV and (3) One recommendation letter. Deadline:
Applications due to dlthomas@wisc.edu by March 10, 2013. The WCAP-2013 Organizing Committee will send award notification via email to the selected scientists in April, 2013.
